Gravo: Rocket’s First GBW Grinder

Gravo marks Rocket Espresso’s entry into the world of Grind By Weight (GBW) grinders — an approach that combines exceptional precision with long-term consistency, designed for true coffee enthusiasts who want full control over every detail of the extraction.

Thanks to GBW technology, the grinder weighs the coffee directly during grinding, eliminating the need for external scales or manual adjustments. This means perfectly accurate doses from the very first use, reducing coffee waste while ensuring precise control over extraction, cup after cup.

The 2.5” touchscreen display is simple and intuitive, allowing users to save up to three personalized recipes. Every parameter can be finely adjusted: from dose weight to burr rotation speed (RPM), all the way to burr distance, which is electronically controlled for fast and reliable adjustments.

Specifically, the motor speed can be increased up to 1500 RPM, delivering a grinding output of 2.5 grams per second.

The adjustable portafilter fork is designed to fit any type of portafilter, making Gravo highly versatile for both home and professional use.

Burrs

Gravo features 63 mm flat burrs with a screwless design, minimizing retention and preserving the coffee’s freshness and aroma.

Design and style

Gravo stands out with its solid, modern design, seamlessly fitting into any coffee station. It is not just a technical tool, but a true design object, the result of a collaboration with the Milan-based studio V12 + Valerio Cometti, known for its creative and innovative approach.

One of its most distinctive details is the knurled metal band around the 300 g hopper, inspired by the world of automotive engineering and high-end jewelry — instantly conveying a sense of precision, quality, and craftsmanship.

Gravo is now available for preorder on our website in both stainless steel and black versions.
