Rocket スプルーガ コーヒーグラインダー

The Rocket Spluga takes its inspiration from the legendary mountain passes of the Giro d'Italia and the consistency of the cyclists who conquer them, and brings it to grinding: every dose the same as the last. 65mm flat burrs and a 480W motor (1400 rpm at 50 Hz, 1680 rpm at 60 Hz) grind for espresso at 2.6 to 3.3 g/s, with a precise grind that shows in the cup as a smoother coffee with a better flavour profile.

Everything runs from the 3.5 inch touch display: three programmable doses, continuous dose and Fast Program function, daily, weekly and total dose counter, adjustable LED lighting, a customisable interface and password protected access. The portafilter rests on the adjustable metal fork with anti vibration coating and stays in place on its own while grinding, and the activation button carries an IP68 waterproof rating.

Grind size is set with the quick release micrometric adjustment, the hopper holds 500g of beans and the tray removes for cleaning.

What we love

We like that the Spluga pairs generous mechanics, 65mm burrs and 480W, with an interface that counts your doses and locks with a password: features as useful in a café as at home for anyone serious about espresso. And the hands free support gives you time to prepare the cup.
