Slayer Steam LP 2 Group Espresso Machine

The Slayer Steam LP is the machine that brought what Slayer had built on the Espresso line behind a working bar: control over the opening phase of the extraction. In the 2 group version it becomes the machine for a specialty cafe that works at volume without giving up the decision on how a shot starts.

Each group is saturated and has its own brew boiler, with a separate steam boiler. The two groups do not steal temperature from each other, and steam stays full even when both are pulling. The valves are electronic solenoids rather than mechanical, and that difference shows up in routine maintenance.

What we love

Pre infusion adjustable from 1 to 10 seconds between 1 and 3 bar, governed by an internal regulator. This is the part of a Slayer that actually changes what lands in the cup, and on the LP you get to move it instead of living with it.

That manual and volumetric coexist. You dial the shot by hand on this month's single origin, then store it and let the machine run it when the queue builds.

Things to consider

The LP earns its place on a bar with a coffee program behind it: someone who tastes the single origin, finds the pre infusion that suits it, and wants it held there for the whole shift. Careful with

This is professional counter equipment. It weighs around 100kg, it plumbs in, and it needs a dedicated 220-240V single phase supply. Check your counter space and your electrics before ordering, because this is not a machine you move.
