Espresso Coffee Shop S.r.l. wants everyone to be able to use the online store www.espressocoffeeshop.com, including with assistive technologies (screen readers, magnifiers, keyboard only). This statement covers the website and the purchasing process, under Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act) and Italian Legislative Decree no. 82 of 27 May 2022.
Compliance status
The website is partially compliant with the requirements of standard EN 301 549, which refers to WCAG 2.1 level AA, for the reasons listed below.
What we have done
- Every function can be used with the keyboard, with the focus always visible; dialogs (cookies, country, Bundle configuration) keep the focus inside and close with Esc.
- The site can be read without horizontal scrolling down to a width of 320 pixels and with browser zoom at 400%.
- Text and controls meet the minimum contrast of 4.5:1, except for the cases listed below.
- Form fields have labels, error messages are read by screen readers, and buttons and links have a name.
- Carousels and animations can be paused and stop when the system asks to reduce motion.
Content that is not yet accessible
- Third-party content: the PayPal and Revolut payment windows, Trustpilot reviews, YouTube videos and maps are provided by others; their accessibility depends on the provider.
- Older content: in some blog articles and product descriptions the images do not yet have a descriptive text alternative. We are fixing them.
- PDF documents (manufacturers' manuals, delivery notes, invoices) may not be accessible. On request we will send you the same information in another format.
How this statement was prepared
Self-assessment of 1 October 2026: automated testing with axe-core on 16 representative pages (home, categories, product, Bundle, search, cart, account, contact, blog and others) at five widths, from 320 to 1440 pixels, and manual testing with keyboard and mobile phone. The statement is reviewed at least once a year and whenever the site changes significantly.
