This powerful grinder is powered by a huge 900 watt motor at 1400 rpm the performance of this grinder matches that of high performance professional grinders. However, it is shorter and narrower than those making it very handy in small kitchens.

Despite the size, inside you will find the latest technologies from Eureka.

In the EUREKA ATOM PRO you will find the ACE or Anti-Clumping Electrostaticity system, designed to prevent the formation of lumps and eliminate the electrostatic charge of ground coffee. Thanks to its action of regulating the flow of coffee, the ACE system leaves your kitchen cleaner. The Easy Setting System facilitates the process of adjusting the degree of grinding, showing the range of grinding techniques that can be obtained: from Turkish to Moka, from Drip to French Press. This makes the grinders, equipped with this system, very quick to reprogram.

The micrometric system with infinite adjustment points, the only one based on the movement of the lower grinder, guarantees unparalleled performance in terms of grinding and allows maintenance operations to be carried out without losing the previously set grain size of the grinding.

The exclusive anti-vibration solution reduces the grinding noise by approximately 20 dB compared to the conventional grinders and paves the way for a new way of grinding coffee: accurate and quiet. This is very good if you have a flat with thin walls or if you are talking to someone while making your coffee.

Pros

Best of both worlds: being a compact coffee grinder with Professional performance we believe that for home-focused it has very few rivals.

Silence: we believe that silence matters especially in homes. Put this coffee grinder in a crowded bar and it will make little difference, put it in your house and you will avoid waking up your partner, kids, or neighbors. You won’t believe it until you hear it.

Things to Consider

Optional Blow-up: if you have come this far in this version of the Atom, you want to aim for near-zero retention of ground coffee. Eureka’s blow-up system is as simple as effective but its an option you have to pay apart.

Adjust while grinding: in order to avoid coffee beans blocking the ground chamber, we recommend to always adjust the grind settings when the burrs are working.

  • 1×300 g coffee bean hopper (to be fitted)
  • 1×Blow Up system (bellows on the hopper lid)
  • 1×Magnetic fork for V60 dripper
  • 1×Magnetic fork for filter coffee tray

Frequently asked questions

The questions we are asked most often about this grinder.

Is the Atom Pro good for espresso or only for filter coffee?

It is designed mainly for filter coffee: it comes with two magnetic forks, one for the V60 and one for the filter coffee tray, and it has no programmed doses. The knob goes from the coarse grind of filter coffee down to the fine grind of espresso, with an output of 6-7.5 g/s for filter and 5-6 g/s for espresso. It has no portafilter fork, though: you decide the amount yourself, with the START/STOP switch.

What is the difference between the Atom W, Excellence, Specialty and Pro? And between 65 and 75 mm?

Every Atom has flat burrs, stepless micrometric adjustment and a motor running at 1,300 to 1,400 rpm. What changes most is how you set the dose:

  • Atom W (W 65, W 75 and W 65 Casa): grinds by weight. The scale sits in the fork: you set the grams on the touch display and grinding stops by itself at the dose, consistent to 0.2 g. The W 65 Casa is the home version, with a 300 g hopper.
  • Atom Excellence: touch display and time-based doses, single and double plus an extra dose or a third dose, and continuous grinding.
  • Atom Specialty: display with physical buttons and time-based doses, single and double plus manual mode; it starts when the portafilter presses the button under the spout.
  • Atom Pro: 75 mm burrs, no programmed doses, started and stopped with the START/STOP switch. It is designed mainly for filter coffee, with magnetic forks for the V60 and for the filter tray.
  • 65 or 75 mm: within the same series the 75 has larger burrs and a more powerful motor, so it grinds more grams per second. For example 2.3-3.8 g/s for the Atom W 65 and 3.3-4.8 g/s for the Atom W 75.
How do I use the Atom Pro? Why does it sometimes stop by itself?

Turn the switch to START to grind and to STOP to finish. For safety it switches off by itself after 45 seconds of continuous grinding, even if the switch stays on START, and it will not start if you switch it on with the switch already on START: in that case turn it to STOP and then back to START.

When you finish grinding, press the hopper lid firmly a couple of times: the Blow Up system blows air into the spout and pushes out the ground coffee left inside. If the switch LED blinks slowly, the grinding chamber has reached 45 °C: stop and let the fan cool it down.

How do I adjust the grind without jamming the burrs?

Turn the knob clockwise for a finer grind, towards espresso, and anticlockwise for a coarser one, towards filter. The adjustment is stepless: go gradually and grind a little coffee every two notches at most. After each adjustment, grind 2 or 3 doses before judging the result.

When you go finer, do it with the motor running. Turning more than 3 notches with the motor stopped can jam or damage the machine. If that happens, write to us before sending it in for service.
