While retaining the core strengths of the original Single Dose — such as low retention, compact design, and high grinding quality — the PRO version introduces a new level of engineering that enhances both performance and workflow.
One of the most significant upgrades lies in its new ZERO Retention Grinding Chamber, meticulously redesigned to eliminate residual coffee and drastically reduce retention. In combination with the new 65mm upper blind burr, which has no screw holes to prevent grounds build-up, the grinder delivers a noticeably cleaner and more consistent grind path.
These internal improvements, together with the proven 15° inclined body and the integrated Blow Up system, ensure close-to-zero retention even during heavy use and improve coffee retention up to 70% compared to former Mignon Single Dose.

The questions we are asked most often about this grinder.
How do I use it: tab, anti-chaff funnel and Blow Up?
Weigh the beans, check that the tab under the hopper is closed and pour them in. Rest the anti-chaff funnel on the cup and bring them up to the grinder until they touch the front plate, start with the side button and only then open the tab. Once the last bean has dropped, close the tab again; when no more coffee comes out of the spout press the Blow Up on the hopper, still with the tab closed, to clean the chamber, then switch off with the side button.
It is not a grinder for a bar or café: every dose is weighed and ground on its own, it is a small ritual.
How do I adjust the Single Dose Pro's grind without jamming it?
Turn the King Size dial clockwise for a finer grind, anticlockwise for a coarser one. The adjustment is stepless: go gradually and grind a little coffee every 2 notches at most. The rev counter on the dial makes it easier to switch between brewing methods.
When you go finer, do it with the motor running. The Single Dose Pro's motor is designed for home use and is less powerful than a professional grinder's: if you turn the dial a full turn with the motor stopped, the grinder can jam. If it happens, write to us before sending it for repair.
Which burrs does it come with? Can I fit Black Diamond burrs?
It comes with 65 mm Pure Diamond flat burrs, with Diamond Inside technology and a blind upper burr, in the design Eureka calls Italian Espresso Taste, made for espresso.
The Pro is compatible with the Black Diamond range, sold separately in four versions: Espresso Specialty, Italian Espresso Taste, Brew Special for filter and All Purpose for espresso and filter.
