EUREKA MIGNON MANUALE COFFEE GRINDER
The Eureka Mignon Manuale is the most accessible all-purpose coffee grinder in the Mignon Lineup. It has been stripped out of all the "luxuries" in order to give you the best value without sacrificing quality. If you are price conscious and you just care about quality, you must consider this coffee grinder.
Specs and Details
What happens when Eureka decides to offer the Mignon in its most basic form? The answer is Manuale. Only by looking at it, you realize that this coffee grinder is made to give you the best value for your money. As a starter, it comes in black only taking out the unnecessary costs of producing it in many different colors. As you will probably notice it also does not have the programmable dose touch screen you will find in the Perfetto or Specialita' because it uses a timer on the side just like in the Silenzio version. In fact, visually this coffee grinder looks identical to the Silenzio. What the Manuale doesn’t get from the Silenzio is Silent Technology, an anti-vibration system that allows the coffee grinder to be quieter. However, the Manuale has plenty to make up for when it comes to the coffee ground because it does have both the anti-clumping system (ACE System) and Eureka's Stepless Micrometric Regulation meaning you won’t need to compromise with the quality, which is the same as the more expensive models in the Mignon lineup.
Price: it offers the same technology that you get from more professional coffee grinders for a fraction of the price.
Quality: for the price, this has got to be the best quality coffee grinder, with much care taken both in the choice of the materials and in the manufacturing process.
Things to Consider
Limited features: to reach such a low price Eureka had to get rid of all the “unnecessary stuff” including the colour. If you can’t accept this compromise, then you should go for more expensive models.
Adjust while grinding: in order to avoid coffee beans blocking the ground chamber, we recommend to always adjust the grind settings when the burrs are working.

Fast delivery, great grinder for the price
First off, the grinder got to my door 3 days after I placed the order. Incredibly fast delivery!
The grinder itself is everything I hoped it would be. I did hefty research before landing on this as a very solid budget espresso grinder. It's built like a tank, and runs surprisingly quiet. I was worried that the Manuale would be on the louder side due to it lacking the sound dampening of the higher-budget Mignon grinders like the Silenzio, but to my surprise it's actually very tame.
The stepless grind settings are an adjustment for me, coming from the JX Pro. The process of dialing in your first setting usually starts with turning the dial as fine as you can, and noting the position and number. Then you adjust from that as your "zero point". It's a bit tedious but the fine adjustment it lends is worth it in my opinion.
This grinder does not have any timing functionality, which works well for me as I prefer to weigh my coffee for a single dose beforehand. Then I just dump it in the hopper and grind until it's all through. There is a simple power on/off toggle switch on the side, and a tactile button on the front of the machine that starts the motor. The grinder only grinds while that button is being pressed. It's positioned to be pressed with the portafilter, which you can rest on the included fork.
Grind uniformity seems to be about on par with my 1Zpresso JX Pro hand grinder, which is to say it's very good. Far better than other electric grinders in its price range, such as the Baratza Sette or the Breville Smart Grinder Pro.
The internal static management is decent, and the coffee comes out very fluffy. You may notice up to a gram of coffee retention for the first few grinds, but it quickly improves to a few tenths of a gram. To further reduce grind retention, I recommend using a small spray bottle of water to mist the coffee beans before grinding.
The Eureka Mignon Manuale is very much a function-first grinder with few bells and whistles. It does what it says, and does it very well. For the money it's genuinely in a class of its own. The Mignon line is very crowded with only subtle differences between each grinder, but that allows you to pick and choose exactly which features you want and pay an accordingly fair price for them.
Well done, Eureka!
Bought this to get a fine enough grind for my espresso maker, coming from an encore that I was hoping would do the job (it didn’t). The manuale has been great, I’ve been single dosing which I know isn’t ideal with this but it’s what I’m used to. There is a little bit of retention. I’m Making good espresso now and that’s what matters. I like the simplicity. I did buy a dosing funnel to make it easier to catch the grounds in the portafilter. Grinder arrived on a Monday after ordering Thursday night - really great
Quality, Quiet, Beautiful- absolutely recommend
I love the Eureka Mignon manual. I want to recommend it to anyone considering an espresso grinder. (single dose)
I have been using Baratza Vario for four years. And never go back to them.
My vario motorhead broken, belt broken, had to spend $100 to buy parts only for fixing myself.
So I purchased Eureka Mignon Manual for around $200. (I live in CA, US. shipping was incredibly fast - it took 2-3days only)
-first impress, much much quieter than Vario for me.
-grinding quality is good as Vario (espresso)
-finer/coarser dial is also much better than Vario, which is hard to adjust and makes an error somehow.
-coffee powder came so smoothly to the portafilter directly, so I didn't lose any. On the other hand, Baratza Vario scatters a lot. I don't use the direct-portafilter base even though I purchased it with an extra $$.
-The bean hopper stopper is a valuable function that Vario doesn't have (it might be optional with an extra $$)
Excellent Grinder and Excellent Customer Service
Ordering from espressocoffeeshop.com was super easy and my grinder was delivered quickly safely. It's a no frills grinder that creates consistent fluffy espresso grounds for my Gaggia Classic Pro.
Eureka Mignon Manuale Grinder
This grinder looks and feels solid. It is heavy and by the feel of it, this grinder can last. This grinder perfoms well at home but I think this can also perform well in small cafes as an espresso grinder. The stepless adjustment is great! It gives you freedom over your grinds. It has been stripped off indeed by what you can get with the other mignon models but the performance and interior of this grinder are totally the same base on their specs. What I least like about this is the plasticky feel of the bean hopper. Overall, I love this grinder!
너무 좋습니다. Fast delivery and I like the product. So good
Great grinder for the cost
Best bang for your buck grinder with many fine adjustments that allow you to really dial in your variables. Easy to clean, made of nice material, and quiet when grinding.
The best espresso grinder overall, and the best customer service!
I am very happy with my purchase, the grinder is minimalistic and stylish at the same time, it looks good in our kitchen and it's not noisy and it is easy to use.
Writing this review one year after purchase. I love this machine. Very reliable, quiet, and does the job.
Would highly recommend
The espresso coffee shop team was awesome in answering all my questions so I love the attention to support here. The Mignon is fantastic! My beans are fine enough for tasty espresso. It's easy to use, shipped fast, and arrived in perfect condition. Thank you so much! Will be using your site again for future purchases and if you're reading this review you should too!
We absolutely LOVE the grinder. Excellent product, and excellent customer service!
Simple but good enough.
It is an order from Japan.
The shipment was very fast.
The product is heavy and stable. The operation sound is very quiet.
I was worried about the rest of the powder, but very little.
There was nothing wrong with the delivered item. I want to buy it again.
EUREKA MIGNON MANUALE COFFEE GRINDER
good and easy control
Eureka mignon manuale
Ottimo prodotto. Lo uso da oltre tre mesi ed è perfetto per la mia Europiccola.
Excellent entry level grinder + affordable
Very satisfied with the Mignon Manuale. It gives you most of the quality of a Eureka mignon grinder without any fancy accessories like the digital display, timer, etc.
If you are ok weighing your beans before you grind, this is one of the most affordable grinders that you can find for espresso.
Plus it looks great on the counter!
Excellent little grinder. Very stylish with the black matt finish. Does the job perfectly every time and i wouldn't call it noisy at all. Great service from espresso coffee shop with a very quick and prompt international delivery. For UK buyers beware that after Brexit you would need to pay taxes upon delivery.
