Profitec Modular Bottomless Portafilter

Profitec's bottomless portafilter takes the guesswork out of extraction: with no spouts and the basket in full view, channeling, uneven tamping and dead spots show up immediately in the flow and the crema. It is the simplest diagnostic tool a home barista can own.

The 58mm portafilter comes with a 21g filter basket and fits Profitec's E61 machines as well as other E61 group heads. The design is modular: with Profitec's optional silicone spout attachments (one or two spouts) and a standard basket it converts back into a classic spouted portafilter, so one handle covers both jobs.
