The original taste of the Italian Espresso with the Rocket R58
"Cinquantotto" or R 58 is the newest Double boiler from Rocket Espresso.
The Double boiler and PID give you optimal extraction for any style of coffee and any tipe of roasting. This ensures that the Espresso coffee always tastes as good as the one you find in the bars.
Let's be honest, the design of the new Rocket R58 "Cinquantotto" is not much different from the old Rocket R58 V2, however, this is not a bad thing because the previous R58 looked stunning. Simple design mixed with the latest technology produced our best selling double boiler coffee machine ever.
The first thing that you will notice looking at the new Rocket R58 is the new feet, quite a departure from the previous ones and definitely the most distinctive feature of the coffee machine. Do we like them? We absolutely do. Will people like them? That's up for debate, we reckon some people will prefer the previous feet but we are also sure they will be the factor convincing many customers to buy this semi automatic coffee machine.
Another feature that you will notice immediately is the new PID. Like the previous one, its removable so you won't need to keep it attached to the coffee machine if you don't need it. However, unlike the previous PID, this one has much more to offer in terms of features and its much easier to use. As a starter, the antiquated buttons and screen have been replaced with an incredibly responsive touch screen where you can easily navigate through the settings. The PID allows you to control the temperatures from both boilers as well as set a timer to turn both on and off the coffee machine every day of the week.
For the rest, its business as usual. Inside you will find 2 copper boilers with a capacity of 0.58 L for the brew boiler and 1.8 L for the steam boiler. Pumping the water is an improved Rotatory pump, now quieter than ever that will allow you to connect the machine directly to the water supply.
